About Me
How'd I get here?
I ran on a platform of common sense, stability, affordability, and preservation. Protecting our land, our way of life, and our human rights.
Amazing organizations, unions, and inspiring leaders endorsed the campaign and were key to its success.

... But mostly it was made possible by my wonderful community.
My Story
I grew up visiting my grandparents in the Piedmont, exploring a love of history while digging up civil war horseshoes and bullets with Grandpa Chilton and his metal detector.
Graduated from the University of Richmond
I studied at the University of Richmond where I graduated with a Bachelors in Leadership Studies and worked with special needs students in Richmond Public Schools.
Moved to Fauquier to take Care of Grandma Bea
I moved home to take care of my grandma in the house she loved so much. It was her wish to keep the house in the family, which it had been since the 1800s.
Early Life in Virginia

Small Town Entrepeneur
When Grandma Bea passed, I renovated the home to become Chilton House Suites, a small bed & breakfast in Old Town Warrenton.

Since opening in 2017, we've introduced over 10,000 people to the Piedmont and generated tens of thousands in revenue for local businesses, wedding venues, and town coffers.
I also joined the Loudoun Medical Reserve Corps where I joined hundreds of volunteers to help protect our towns from the COVID-19 virus.
Building Rural Prosperity During The Pandemic
As so many of us remember, the pandemic was a brutal time for small businesses. When lockdown forced my B&B to close, I accepted the chairmanship of a local economic development group. There, I raised tens of thousands of dollars for local restaurants and small businesses to help re-open old town.

Serving Virginians in Richmond

I spent three years in the House of Delegates as Chief of Staff to Del. David Reid of Ashburn. Together we:
-
Expanded health insurance access for 400,000 Virginians;
-
Guaranteed full-day pre-kindergarten education in Loudoun County;
-
Froze tuition for public higher education institutions for 3 years;
-
Joined the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative and wrote the Virginia Energy Plan transitioning Virginia off of fossil fuels by 2050;
That's what we can do when Democrats win in Virginia, and that's what we will build on in 2025.
Clean Energy Advocate & Farmland Preservationist
I joined the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Development team in 2022. There, I helped over 12,000 small businesses and farmers save billions and generate new revenue from renewable energy projects. My work created over 10,000 jobs and spent over $2 billion in rural America. These efforts helped keep farms in the family and reduced development and sprawl.
In 2023, I joined President Biden's Office of Clean Energy Innovation and Implementation. My team and I managed the $140+ Billion in clean energy and conservation in the largest climate investment in American history, the Inflation Reduction Act.

Life These Days

After a winning campaign for the House of Delegates in Virginia's 30th District (see: How Did I Get Here), I'm getting to work for my constituents in the 2026 Legislative Session in Richmond.
As a 10th-generation Virginian, I'll never stop working to protect the people and places that make this home. Out of Session, my girlfriend Gabby and I stay involved in the community across Loudoun and Fauquier. We continue to run the Chilton House B&B in my grandparents' historic home. After nearly 10 years as a small business, it continues to bring the community together and introduce new folks to our area, fostering success for other small businesses.
